*I think everyone should try to write down things that made you happy for that day, and then try to surround yourself with those things. Discover what makes you happy! It has been great for me. (And of course there are much more loves....but I will just have to wait and share another day!)

Penny for your thoughts...

*The sun is wonderful. I wish it was a little warmer.
*Planning future vacations and getaways really excite me. I love to look forward to something fun, new and exciting. Growing up family vacations were the highlight of my years. (and even today they still are!)
*People who only tell half truths really bug me.
*I love spending Monday evening with the Carter's. I just adore these two.
*I have recently been keeping a gratitude and happy journal. Every night I record five things I am grateful for and list anything that made me happy or things that I discovered I loved that day. I will share more later. 3 weeks and going strong....
*I need to run more. PROBLEM: I don't feel safe running outside our apartment therefore it is not as easy as just running out the front door. I am still determined to run a half marathon in june....therefore...I need to start running more.
*Aaron is on track to graduate in December. I am SO proud of him!! He has been doing so well in school and at work. I just LOVE this man.
*Gap and giving me hours = they fail in this category.
*Teaching dance is quite the challenge especially when you have some cute girls that think it is "don't listen to the teacher DAY" every time they come to class. Though that is only one class.
*Finished reading the Lost Symbol by Dan Brown....loved it! Mr. Brown is pure genius. I would pay a penny for his thoughts any day. I am now starting the Davinci Code.
*I just love my husband to pieces.

I am so in love with my husband. He makes me one happy girl.

I am also very happy because the sun is shining today. Something about the sun just makes me smile and feel good inside.

Other things that make me happy:
-My husband just bought me The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown...I cant wait to finish!
-My hair is almost long enough to fit back into a bun.
-Our apartment is feeling more like home.
-Life is good.
-Valentines Day is almost here.
-My daily chats with my mom.
-Having friends and family close by.
-Tax returns
-The Bachelor
-Watching movies at night with my hubby.

My Besties!!

So recently I have been so grateful for some of my best friends. For me I have come to realize that a good friend can be hard to come by, and that is why I am SO thankful for the ones that are in my life.

But today I want to give a little shout out to my Besties!! The five women in my life who have been there from the beginning of time.......well....of college!! We all will say it..."How in the world are we friends?" All of us are SO different, but yet we have that friendship that will last a long time.

So it is still hard to believe that we all lived next door to each other in the freshman dorms and than lived together from then on out. We have all seen each others ups and downs and that is what I believe has brought us so close.

Just a little update on everyone:
Mrs. Aly and her husband Spencer, are currently residing in Provo, Utah. Aly is working full time, as a personal assistant at a law firm, and Spencer is in the process of applying to law school. So much to look forward for them.
Mrs. Amanda and her husband Will, are currently residing in New York City. Will was offered a full time position there in the city and they took it. Amanda is working as a Nanny and loving it! The big city has been a great adventure for them.
Hermana Ashley is currently residing in Houston, Texas, where she is serving a mission for our church! She is doing great and is loving life! I couldn't be more proud of her.
Miss Cara is also currently residing in Provo, Utah. She is working full time for Provo Craft, and LOVING her job. She is big time....getting to go on business trips and enjoy all the perks.
Miss Lindsay is currently residing in New York City, also. She is working with her Dad, with a company in the City. I always pictured this girl in the city....she was meant to experience it.

So there you are....it is fun to see where we all are in life, to think about where we were a few years ago, and to see what we have to look forward to.

I love all these women so dearly! Thank you thank you for ALWAYS being there for me. Love y'all!

Oh life...

Life....where do I begin? You were so wonderful back in DC. You used to make me smile everday. Where have you gone? I am now back in a place I feel as though I have already conquered...have already moved past. So why am I here, feeling stuck? Well no, don't answer that.....thats a silly question....I know the answer. For life to progress I must stay here. Well then Life.....I'm here....willing and wanting to learn.....but may I ask a favor? Can this time maybe go by fast? Thanks Life!......I would appreciate that! :) From: MEY
