16 DAYS........wait what?????

Oh my goodness!!!! Can anyone believe it!!! 16 more days until Mr. Aaron Turner Young and I seal the deal. I am so excited I cant even begin to explain it! Part of me wants to start a countdown with like a paper chain or something of the sort, and the other half of me says, Megan - you have something called FINALS to get through!!! AHHHH!!! It is so hard because I feel like I cant let myself be in wedding mode quite yet, because I have to get through finals week. But it will be SOOOOOOO worth it in the end. After this crazy semester I will finally become Mrs. Megan Young. Wow - how great does that sound!! But until that grand day I have to focus my thoughts and dreams to wonderful school. Oh joy!

Just some updates. We have finally purchased our apartment. We will be living in Wymount, which is pretty much the Mormon dream. Some wonderful facts about this place: The paint contains lead, there is no air conditioning (great for summer), kids roam around freely ALL the time and leave their toys everywhere, and to top it off Aaron's grandparents lived there. hahaha....but to be completely honest with you.....I am SO excited to live there. Really! I already have planned out how I want to decorate, and I am just so excited to live together and own our own place. I could care less how big it is, as long as I get to live with the love of my life.

Here are some pictures

Some more updates, Aaron just recently was promoted to a higher position within his job, which is wonderful news. I just recently auditioned for BYU's Dancers' Company (the modern company), and was accepted again for the second and last year. Yahoo!! The best news of all is that my best dance girlfriend Michelle also made it. The two of us and our two fiances have the best times together. It is so much fun to have another couple to hang out with and do fun things with.

To go off on a tangent....last night Michelle and her fiance Zane and Aaron and I all went out for ice cream to celebrate us making it onto Dancers' Company. We went to Smart Cookie which is one of Aaron's all time favorite ice cream places. It is genius!! You choose two cookies and choose a flavor of ice cream and they put it all together into a delicious, luscious, dont count the calories, cheep (2$) treat! We love it. After stuffing our faces full of sweets we went back to my place to watch "Father of the Bride". A movie everyone needs to watch again!! What a great movie.

Well back to our lives. We are as happy as can be. Just ready to be done with school, and ready to be on the beach or walking around Walt Disney World for our honeymoon. Things are going well....16 days....and counting!!

Grandma Crowder

Last night, April 7th, 2008, my grandmother Phylis Crowder passed away. What a wonderful, strong, dedicated, loving woman she was. I personally am so grateful for the inspiration, and example that she was to me. As I was talking with my brother, Connor today. He simply stated, "Lets remember all the great memories we had with grandma." What great advice.

I have loved learning about my grandmas life. She was such an accomplished woman. She was the oldest of eleven children, was a wave in the Navy during WWII, attended and graduated from Brigham Young University (when very few women did in her day), married a wonderful man, had my mother, and the lis goes on and on. Throughout all of this the one thing that I have always felt such a connection with my grandma was that we both loved to dance. I truly believe that I recieved my passion and love of dance through her. She was a modern dancer at Brigham Young University, as I am now. My mother would tell me that when she would watch me dance, I looked like my gandma. I will never forget my grandma giving me tap lessons on my kitchen floor growing up. She was the master of time steps. She increased my love for dance, in which I am forever grateful. I am so grateful to her and for the time she spent with me. I will always love and miss her, and remember the great memories I shared with her.

My new computer = I promise I will be a better blogger!!!

Confession....I have struggled!! I know I need to be a better blogger, countless of people have informed me of this. So I have recently been so blessed with a new computer, so now I promise I will try my hardest to be a better blogger!! But lets be honest....its hard to find time between being a full time student and planning a wedding. But there is no excuse, because in all of those areas I have been blessed with ample amounts of help. Especially with planning the wedding. Thank you mom, Jody, Sarah, dad, Phil and everyone else who has dedicated so much time and energy, just to ensure that May 2nd, 2008 will be a day to remember. I / We can't begin to express our love and appreciation for y'all!! So thank you.

Ok with all that said. How about an update! Aaron and I are exactly one month away for the big day, and believe me we are so ready! We have two weeks of school left before finals and a whole lot of other things to get done. Aaron is SO BUSY!!!! I do NOT know how he does it. He is working full time and going to school full time and will probably pull off all A's this semester. WOW! Plus he has to deal with me....a full time fiance! Bless his heart. He is the most hard working, wonderful, amazing, handsome, and loving person I know. He is so patient with me, and I am just grateful to have him in my life. I am just staying busy with school, dance and wedding details. So much to do in a little amount of time. But we can do it!!

Again we want to express our love and appreciation to our families and all that they are doing to help us out in every way possible. So thank you again! We love y'all!

Here are some pictures from our engagement shoot!
