Don't ask why...but I am in desperate need of change!! I am craving it!! I don't know if it is the weather outside or I just have senior-itis. Really I haven't quite figured it out, but I need it. I have been thinking a lot lately of what could be some good changes in my life and my thoughts have led me to two great new things!! These are things that I have always had an interest in, but never could quite find the time to pursue them. So I am saying it now.....I am going to get into photography and personal training/aerobics. Really I am! There is not a whole lot of time in my schedule to get into these things now, but I have started to do my research and once I graduate in April I am hitting these two great things hard. I am searching for a credible program to be certified as a personal trainer at the moment and hope to get that done after April. And with photography I would just like to understand and learn more for the future. I have been voicing my ideas to my sweet husband and he has been so supportive. That is why I love him so much!! But not only has he been listening he actually is helping me with the new changes. Just last week Aaron came home and surprised me with a new camera...a very nice Cannon Rebel camera.
I couldn't believe it, because I had told him I was going to ask for it as my birthday present in July! But he told me we had received some unexpected tax return from the state and the first thing he thought of was buying me a camera. Really? I do have the best husband in the world....it is confirmed! So....thank you sweetheart for getting me on the path of change, because I am ready for it!!

Wow, that is so awesome! Those are both things I've wanted to embrace too! Take it and strike while you can! I don't have the time or money right now, so I'll just live vicariously thorugh you! :) My friend Laura just certified as a personal trainer here in Atlanta last summer. I can ask her the details if you like!
You BOTH are the best!!!!!!!
Meg,
Just fyi. NASM is a really good program for CPT. A lot of gyms look for that certification in personal trainers. Gold's will actually give you a discount on the course if you train for them. ACSM is another good certification. ACE is widely recognized as well. BYU offers EXSC classes for NASM and ACSM ( I think they're 285 and 485.) I took them and really enjoyed them! Good luck!
WOW - how cool that Aaron bought you a camera! He's definatly doing good at the whole husband thing. :) I think you'd make an awesome trainer, too. One of my best friends was a trainer forever...let me know if you need any info on getting started, she's way cool and I'm sure would have lots of good info. for you. Love you guys, and MISS you both!
Go Megan....I'l be happy to be your first ginny PIG ...No puns intended!!!!
