It was an eleven hour car ride which allowed us to learn so much more about each other. One being that we have a slight difference in our preference of music. Aaron would rather listen to the screaming and yelling of punk rock while I would rather listen to the sweet southern voice of Mrs. Dolly Parton (which he hates :) ). Thank goodness we can come to an agreement on country and some Jack Johnson, or else we would have been in huge trouble. Besides the music selection we had a great time seeing the scenic views of Arizona (thanks Phil), driving past the Hoover Dam, and driving through Las Vegas - where we were tempted to get hitched right then and there! Again we had such a great time learning more about eachother and spending time together, just the two of us.

Roadtrip to Arizona
This past weekend Aaron and I packed up our stuff and headed down to Chandler, Arizona, where we went to visit his sister Kristen and her husband Adam and new baby Rocklin. We drove down for Rocklin's baby blessing which was wonderful, and it was also great to see Aaron's dad, Phil. We had such a wonderful time and would do it agian in a heart beat. Thanks again Birkmeyer's for everything!!
